Dr. LaTonya Brown, Founder & CEO

Dr. LaTonya Brown is a native of metro-Atlanta and is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of LB Legacy Network, Inc. She attended Georgia State University for her undergraduate and master’s degree where she majored in Education. She obtained her doctorate from Northcentral University in Administration and Supervision. Professionally, she has been an educator and advocate for nearly 30 years. During that time, she has been a teacher, administrator, and district leader. LaTonya is a self-proclaimed life-long learner and whole-heartedly believes in the power of education.

Having persevered through her own trials and tribulations as a youth, she knows what it takes to turn adversity into triumph. She has experienced first-hand how working with youth can empower and positively impact their lives, especially those who are the most vulnerable. Therefore, she has made it her life assignment to “be the model” by volunteering, mentoring, and serving over the years with various youth programs and foundations.

Her tenacity, strong leadership skills, and community involvement has led her to focus on the unique needs of youth who are often underserved and underrepresented; hence, commonly overlooked in educational and social settings. She is determined to eradicate the negative effects of these salient injustices by providing these young people a positive framework for sustainable success in their personal lives and communities. She is of the belief that, “We are all connected. If you’re not touching lives, you’re not living life, you’re merely existing.”
